A carbon price will cut more than 159 million tonnes a year of carbon pollution from our air by 2020. That's the equivalent of taking over 45 million cars off the road.

It will also create new jobs, support renewable energy and grow the next generation's low-pollution economic prosperity.

So don't be fooled by mining billionaires who say we can't make a difference with strong climate action - they're in it for themselves, not for Australia.
